Dear distinguished delegates,

It is an honor to stand before you as the chair of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

Our further gatherings are aimed at highlighting our shared commitment to addressing the pressing issue of doping, which continues to challenge the integrity of sports and public health globally. As we engage in discussions, let us focus on the importance of collaboration, evidence-based policies, and the promotion of fair play.

By working together, we can develop effective strategies to combat doping and ensure a healthier future for athletes and society as a whole.

I am eager to hear your insights and look forward to our productive discussions. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Polina Sultanshina

Dear colleagues, distinguished guests, dear friends,

It is a great honour for me to address you in my capacity as Chair of the Model United Nations 2025 at Moscow State University. I am overwhelmed with pride when I see so many enthusiastic and dedicated young people here, united by a desire to understand and solve the most pressing problems of our time.

MSUMUN is not just an academic endeavour, but a platform where we develop fundamental skills in leadership, diplomacy and teamwork. Through this experience, we not only discuss global issues, but also learn to engage in dialogue, listen to different points of view and seek innovative solutions to build a better future.

We face enormous challenges: climate change, humanitarian crises, protecting human rights and finding sustainable and equitable development for all. Here at MSUMUN, we do not just talk about these challenges, we actively work on proposals that can make a real difference, promoting respect, solidarity and co-operation between countries.

I would like to invite each of you to take this opportunity to learn, challenge your ideas and grow. Be bold in your speeches, open-minded in your debates and ambitious in your resolutions. Remember that leadership and change starts here, in this very debate and in this exchange of ideas.

Thank you for your dedication and for being part of this great community. I wish you all a rich and unforgettable experience at this Model UN session.

Sincerely,

Bella Kravetz
